Certified for structural timber

Olofssons are proud to present an improved product portfolio and improved flexibility in our services to our customers.

Since February 5:th 2009 Olofssons are certified by SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden to process, i.e. plane and if desired cut-to-length, "machine strength graded structural timber". We comply with directive 93/68/EEC and apply all the provisions concerning the attestation of factory production control described in annex ZA of standard EN 14081-1:2005.

The structural timber can be ordered in standard lengths or cut-to-length with a tolerance of up to +/- 1 mm. We have at our disposal an integrated cut to length equipment in our planing line, and also an off line cut-to-length machine for complete packets. A new inkjet marker will be installed in our planing line within a few weeks. The new printer enables us to provide longitudinal marking of the timber with up to 70 mm high labels/symbols with very short distance between each label (down to almost 0 mm distance between).
